- A referral is not necessary. You can call to make a private appointment at any time.
- However, you may wish to see your GP for a referral if wanting to access Medicare rebates such as GP Chronic Disease Management Plans.
- We also accept NDIS, DVA and ADF referrals, if applicable.
- Yes, we are able to do video or phone appointments if preferred. We just send you a link that you can click from your phone or computer, no software or apps needed!
- All dietitians are also nutritionists, however not all nutritionists are dietitians. Dietitians have undergone further training in medical nutrition therapy, and therefore are qualified to provide individualised nutrition advice for specific needs.
- This will depend on your individual needs. As your care plan is tailored, the frequency of appointments will be discussed between you and your dietitian at your first appointment. Appointments typically range from weekly to monthly, depending on your goals and preferences, and can be adjusted to what you find most helpful.
